class hours

As i have lot of free time during classes I started wondering why do we students go to college ?

Why does the lecturer teaches even when he knows no one is listening?(ok girls may be an exception).

So what do we do when we are not listening in the class?

Many of us keep texting to some random person in our contacts.Other people keep chattin on a topic which does not have slightest connection with what is taught in the class. And the remaining few sleep like they have not slept in atleast a few days.So who said that college is exciting? College was exciting only in the first year when we were new.Now a days we curse ourselves to keep staring at the same faces inside the classes . Ofcourse , cursing them is the only exciting part left. So are we gettin bad marks because we never listen in the class? We college students have made it a practice to study for exams in the eleventh hour and we are doing it decently good. If you dont believe this theory look at our notebooks. It will be filled with random stuff from the black board (basically you wont be able to comprehend which subject is this).Now I ask our management this question "Why do you conduct lectures and eat our brains ?"
